Concrete removal and slab demolition around Hot Springs, Hot Springs Village, Benton and the surrounding 50 miles is demolition work at ground level. Cracked driveways, the slab an old garage sat on, a foundation left behind after a teardown, a patio or pool deck that has heaved: we break it out with the excavator, load it in the trucks and haul it away. What you get back is dirt, graded and ready for a new pour, a gravel drive or grass.
Concrete is heavy, and hauling is most of the cost. A four-inch driveway slab weighs about two and a half tons per hundred square feet before the base under it is counted. We plan the break-up so the pieces load fast, keep the loads sized for the trucks, and separate rebar and wire mesh where a recycling yard will take them. That keeps the tonnage on the landfill ticket down.

A driveway removal is the most common call. The slab gets broken into loadable pieces with the excavator, the base rock underneath gets checked, and the drive is either regraded for gravel or left prepped for a new pour. If the old drive failed because water ran under it, we fix the drainage before anything new goes down.
Foundations and garage slabs are heavier work. Footings run deeper than people expect, and older Hot Springs houses often sit on a mix of block, poured concrete and stone. We dig the footings out, break the slab, and backfill the hole with compacted fill so the lot does not settle into a dip a year later. That backfill is dirt work we already have the trucks and material for.
Patios, porch slabs, steps, dog runs and pool decks are small jobs with one complication: they sit close to the house, the fence and whatever you are keeping. We work those with the smaller machines, protect what stays, and carry the pieces out to the truck when the machine cannot reach. A cracked patio needs a machine sized to the space and a plan for the load-out.

Broken concrete from Garland County goes to the county landfill on Cedar Glades Road or its transfer stations, where construction and demolition waste is charged by the ton with a 15 dollar minimum. That is why we plan the break-up around weight: clean concrete separated from dirt and wood, metal pulled out for the recycling side, and loads sized to the trucks. Those fees are in the quote.
